Grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia. I had a modest and well grounded up brining by a single mother who worked hard to provide and see that we had all we needed.
My first love of photography began in 4H, and believe it or not I won an award for a photo of a squirrel taken at a family reunion.
I married and moved away at a young age and have lived in Texas, California, Maryland, Maine, Florida, Spain, Japan and Minnesota. the more I traveled the more I enjoyed taking pictures.
